Key working areas included:
Day 1: Understanding UNESCO MAB Reserve functions and identifying priority threats.
Day 2: Tackling common challenges and aligning strategies for future Biosphere Reserve mandate
Day 3: Developing communication and educational strategies for the future reserve.
Truly collaborative planning with 9 municipalities, 3 ministries and 6 directorates: environment, tourism, water, fisheries, agriculture and culture, 3 managers of PAs: NPs, Agency for PG, Coastal Zone, institutions and CSOs: EPA, HMZ, NGOs, local private actors and amazing facilitators and experts on open conservation standards, communication and education: Marko Pecarevic Jelena Marojević Galić Danijel Lončar Sonja Badjura!
